Winter runs from December to March, and Latvia uses it: husky teams on the forest tracks outside Riga, and the Sigulda track, built for the Soviet team in 1986, still open to anyone willing to take the corners. These 6 runs list the season, the price and how long you are actually moving.

“Really nice first time dog sledding through some tracks in a forest. We experienced it with snow on the track and had a great time playing with the dogs. The down side of the experience was the small vehicle used to take us to the spot (1 hour driving from Riga). It wasn't fit to accommodate 4 people + driver. And that's the only reason why I won't give the perfect rating. Our guide did his best despite the inconvenience of the mean of transportation and we'd gladly take the experience again with him.”

“Due to an issue with the bobsleigh, I was not able to get my two single-person rides. However, my guide did get me on a ride with a group, and as compensation took me to go on the nearby cable car and visit Turaida castle. Probably ended up being a better tour than what I originally booked for, and the guide was very friendly and helpful.”

“Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. Just one thing I would do differently… after a long time of driving one quick trip down the bobsled track was too fast. Really should have been at least two trips down. Would have made it more worthwhile and entertaining. The first ride to know what to expect and the second to enjoy.”
