They were thorough and patiently with great interest answered all my questions relating to Latvian people and current culture! They also gave me cookies, tea and long chips! “We really enjoyed this excursion. Our tour guide Rolands was very friendly and informative. We were picked up from our hotel at 9am and returned at 2pm. In total we were 4 people, us plus another couple. The guided walk on the boardwalk around Kermeri Bog was spectacular! We were also lucky enough to see some wildlife including a Stork, Crane and Lizard! After we finished the 4km walk Rolands offered us some traditional Latvian sweets and tea. We were pleased we opted to do the Jurmala extension where Rolands drove us through the town pointing out things to see before we made a short stop at a viewpoint overlooking…”

“Lovely day trip with an interesting and informative guide who knew a lot of about Latvia's history as well as from a personal perspective, especially being under soviet occupation. He gave us a lot of time to explore beaches and wonderful expanse of bogland that you can walk through on a wooden walkway on our own, but took us to useful sites. He was also accommodating taking us back to the shops and giving us useful info about the town.”
